Sorry for lack of art i’m still settling into my new routine.. It’s very tiring. Buuuuut i have a week off next week, so that’s good 🙂

Imagine Shiro walking in on Lance, only to see him all alone in his room, bare back facing the mirror, and face staring at the scar on his back from the bomb incident when he saved Coran. Lance then catching Shiro staring and his eyes immediately widen in shock. He starts to panick because Oh my gosh, I’m such a jerk! Shiro has way more scars than I do and here I am moping as if it’s the end of the world!
Now, consider…
Lance whining softly about how nobody will ever want to stare at a back like his, and Shiro saying “I wouldn’t say that” as he grips his biceps from behind.
Shiro proceeding to compliment Lance’s amazing build from all the training and effort he’s put in to becoming a stronger Paladin, meanwhile they’re both blushing from his praises (good thing they aren’t facing each other, am I right?)
Shiro: “I’ve been told that many people adore a person with battle scars.”
Lance: “You must be referring to yourself. I’m not you, Shiro… you’re perfect, even with your scars. I’m… not.”
Lance sounds so close to breaking down, and suddenly… Shiro’s kissing his scar.
Shiro wants Lance to know that he shouldn’t be ashamed of his scars, even though it took Shiro a while to figure that out for himself. He’s learned to accept them as a part of who he is.
Lance interrupts Shiro’s kisses by asking, “What are you doing?” in between sniffles, to which Shiro replies, “Loving you.”
